High School Festival 2.0

AzDEO is offering the following alternative to our HS Festival!

CLASSES

1. Funding of $100 to hire an outside teaching artist to teach one virtual or in-person class to your students

OR

2. Funding to be put toward the purchase of needed video equipment/software (up to $100) to help you with virtual/hybrid teaching. Once you have secured a teacher and they have taught the class or you have purchased the equipment/software, AzDEO will refund the cost.

You may hire any teacher for any genre-Ballet, Bollywood, Irish, African, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern, Contemporary, Yoga, Capoeira, Latin etc. Through an Arts Commission COVID Relief grant, we are able to fund approximately 30 teachers. First come, first serve.

DEADLINE TO APPLY IS MARCH 31st!

PERFORMANCE

Submit your dance pieces to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1PcD0l4-xRRof94tHfH-BYOCK4t5odmep?usp=sharing

Two categories for submission:

1. Filmed Dance: Pieces filmed with either a straight shot or one/two angles. Used solely to capture the entirety of the piece.
2. Dance for Film: Filmed with angles, effects etc. Used to enhance the theme/intent of the choreography. 

One piece per school! Maximum length: 4 minutes

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: MARCH 31, 2021

Adjudication Optional: $20 for members, $25 for non-members.
